Alexander Chemical is a leader in the water purification chemical industry. We supply chlor-alkali products and packaged industrial gases, chlorine, ammonia, sulfur dioxide, and methyl chloride in the upper Midwest. We package and distribute the specialty gas, anhydrous hydrogen chloride, throughout North America.
We manufacture sodium hypochlorite (bleach), ammonium hydroxide (aqua ammonia) and sodium bisulfite solution in our Kingsbury, Indiana manufacturing and repackaging facility.
From our two locations in Indiana and Michigan, we distribute a wide variety of products for water treatment and industrial applications. Our key products include sodium hydroxide (caustic soda), hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, and hydrofluosilicic acid (HFS acid).
We also stock and distribute, in the Midwest, an assortment of dry inorganic products targeted to the water treatment industry, including sodium bicarbonate, activated carbon, filter aids, sodium carbonate (soda ash) and many more. All our product sold for water treatment meet AWWA standards and are listed under the NSF / ANSI-60 standard.
Alexander Chemical offers DOT Cylinder Hydrostatic Testing and Certification and cylinder maintenance services for your cylinder/container fleet.
